I didn't get to check out the site this morning. Masama rin pala ang tama. Wawa naman yung mga naubos talaga ang cubicle. Student exams, submissions...but most especially, personal stuff.
Thanks for sharing this Lara. Maybe these pics can help us generate interest in sending in help in whatever form. I think the Fair Comm (and SAMAPI!) is working on raising funds na. I'm sure others will follow suit.

 | hi lara! naging teacher ko mom mo nung fourth year ako...pati na rin karamihan ng mga teachers na naapektuhan ng apoy...kaya super nalulungkot ako na nangyari to sa kanila...
pero at least wala namang nasaktan...hopefully maganda ang insurance coverage ng school (pasensya na field ko to eh XP) pero mahirap palitan yung mga memories na nasa mga cubicles...the faculty center will never be the same again. :(
let me know kung paano kami makakapag donate sa school. :D eto talaga yung mga times na sana nandiyan ako sa pinas para makatulong physically...pakikamusta nga pala ako sa mom mo pati sa mga teachers! :D

I was worried the entire day yesterday when some of my friends texted me about the fire. Ang daming rumors na hindi ko ma-confirm, I was bordering on panic, buti na lang one of my '05 friends pointed me out to this post. Thank you for posting this, and thank you for future updates on the situation. :)
Sobrang nakakalungkot yung mga nawalan ng bahay sa Faculty Center. Naiisip ko nalang talaga yung "forest" ni Sir Vlad sa cubicle nya - ang daming memorabilia ang nandun, including a lot of stuff from our batch. And your mom too, all the other teachers. None of it will ever be the same. But we all take comfort in the fact that nobody was hurt, and the physical damage, at least, will be fixed.
Thank you again for sharing this with us. I'm not sure if your mom remembers me, di nya 'ko naging student, pero pakikamusta na rin ako. :) Take care.

| It was so heart-crushing seeing these pictures. What more if I would see the real thing? I spent almost my whole 16 years of life here and my mom 25 years, through these walls. And now, because of an unknown source yet, or lemme say unverified, everything, as well as memories, turned into ashes...
As a daughter of one of those who got affected here (my mom lost 5 pairs of shoes because of this XD), I am really so heartbroken of what happened. It was around 6 in the morning when an 09 student, Quintin Eusebio, told me about it. We were already on our way to school and I noticed mom got really bugged. Why wouldn't she be? It's the first school she went to after she graduated from college. I also got bothered. It's the VERY FIRST SCHOOL I went to! I was in my mom's tummy when I first "stepped" in Pisay. :)) So, yeah... Not just papers and woods, but also memories got TOTALLY ABOLISHED. ANNIHILATED. EXTINGUISHED. Nakakaiyak talaga. :(( (Both as a fresh graduate and a "Pisay child".)
The wing where the rooms are nearest to the library is the one that got TOTALLY OBLITERATED. Yes. :(( Although some of the current students there are happy, teachers, namely Mrs. Celeste Aguila, Ms. Josie Osit, Mrs. Ligaya B. Cion, Mr. Ed Cipriano, Mrs. Aida Guimarie, Mr. Renan Ortiz (new Art teacher), Ms. Lori Anda, Mr. Vlad Lopez (just a little), Mr. Joselito Englatera, Ms. Evelyn Mijares, Mrs. Elizabeth Bernal, Mr. Jo Gonzales, Mr. Jorge Job (co-La Sallian :P) got GRAVELY affected of this incident.
Those on the opposite part (Mrs. Oblepias' wing), didn't get affected that much. But I think Mr. Martin Perez's and Atty. Auring Perez's things got all watered up. Some of the windows also got broken, as well as the doors.
Good old Pisay. :(
